Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I am over 50, with a history of lifting free weights.I wanted something I could use in the home primarily for maintenance.I am using it 3 to 4 times a week.
I considered the cheaper product, but purchased this unit instead, after a more thoughtful look. There are a couple of things I liked over the cheaper units. The way the base of the unit contacts the floor, makes it very stable.I do not use a lot of heavy weight, but the unit is very quiet. The seat swivels out of the way, making it easy to move from a pull down movement to a seated row.
Actually, I cannot understand how they can offer and build a unit this well made for the price.I am very pleased so far.Bear in mind I have only used it 5 or 6 weeks.

Product Description:
The Powertec P-LM sets new standards for performance with the smoothest lat machine available anywhere. Outfitted with a weight carriage that rides on nylon bushings for precise operation, the machine is about as smooth and quiet as it gets. As with most Powertec pieces, the floor tubing is elevated off the floor, providing a fully stable base with no lateral movement. Powertec also incorporates a unique swivel seat that pivots out of the way, so you can perform several different exercises with the necessary clearance. Most importantly, the lat machine works your upper back, lower back, triceps, and more, helping you develop an effective full-body workout. The P-LM measures 34 by 82 by 60 inches (W x H x D), offers a total weight capacity of 350 pounds, and carries the following warranties: lifetime on the frame, two years on component parts (such as bearings and spring pins), and one year on pads and grips. All plates are sold separately.
