(More customer reviews)I bought this product sight unseen, since there is no Kettler dealer where I live.I was definitely taking a chance, but was relying on the Kettler name and expected a lot at this price.
The bike arrived nicely packaged and went together easily.Very sturdy.The thing I do not understand is the resistance.From the product description, I expected the resistance to be controlled by the computer... but it was not.The resistance is controlled by a mechanical knob, and I could not figure out how to make it work.Other than the resistance, this thing is very solid.
Thankfully, Amazon took it back without putting up a fight... which was a great relief... otherwise I would be gun-shy about buying such an expensive item without knowing exactly what it was.
I get the impression that Kettler products are well engineered and built, which is why I bought this... but unfortunately the resistance mechanism is a fatal flaw on this particular product.
